This piano comes from the "Singer" Mark I period (1976-1977), characterized by the implementation of Rhodes' graduated neoprene hammer tips and tines manufactured by Singer. These pianos sound more balanced across the full range of the keyboard than earlier Mark I's, while still having a deep bass and warm midrange. "Singer" pianos offer some of the best of both worlds between early and late 70's sound.
