This is an early 200A (1974-1977). When the 200A was first introduced in 1974 it featured a new amplifier and upgraded electronics, but these first few years still carry a lot of the midrange punch and grit of the 200 era — bringing out some of the best of both worlds between the 200 and 200A.

The 206A carries the 206 student console's wood cabinet and built-in 4x8-inch speaker system over to the updated 200A amplifier.
