This is a pre-order of a restoration instrument. After you purchase, our team will contact you with an estimated restoration timeline and, if any additional work beyond our standard process is needed, a cost estimate before we proceed.
The listing price reflects a 50% down payment to reserve the instrument and place it in our restoration queue. The current estimated completion date is estimated around 4-6 months unless otherwise noted. Please contact us directly for expedited rates if you need the instrument in a faster timeframe. The remaining 50% balance is due before the instrument leaves the workshop.
Our Wurlitzer restoration process is among the most meticulous in the world, with over 30 hours of expert craftsmanship devoted to every instrument. Throughout our restoration process we prioritize using period-correct vintage components whenever possible, or select the highest quality reproduction parts when necessary. Each restoration is carefully tailored to bring out the very best in the Wurlitzer's action, touch, and iconic tone while remaining true to its original character, earning our highest seal of approval.
This is an early 200A (1974-1977). When the 200A was first introduced in 1974 it featured a new amplifier and upgraded electronics, but these first few years still carry a lot of the midrange punch and grit of the 200 era — bringing out some of the best of both worlds between the 200 and 200A.
The 270 is Wurlitzer's butterfly-cabinet console — a distinctive wing-shaped wood cabinet with built-in speakers.
