Up today is the first piece from our Spring Citrus Collection, The Hohner Clavinet D6 in custom orange. Zesty yet classic, wrapping this funk box in orange just feels fitting for the funky flavor that a Clavinet brings anywhere it goes. And of course, it feels like a nod to Stevie Wonder’s classic 70’s Orange Amp set up.

We had to really peel this Clavinet to get its restoration together, including disassembling all of the tuners and the entire harp. Surface rust had made its way into some of the metal components of the instrument, and so we had to meticulously remove and polish much of the instrument and its components. This also involved refinishing the harp itself. The result is one of the finest Clavinets we’ve ever seen, and you can catch it being played by @sleevelessmikerunyon on stage with @realmarcusking now!

Beyond the Mechanical restoration, the custom #cepco music rack really ties the room together, and if you’ve got a Clavinet in need; you can get one for yourself on our website.
