Our inhouse band, the CEPtet performs the legendary Bob James classic "Angela", featuring a freshly overhauled 1975 Rhodes Satellite 88 with fresh tolex and a custom smoked plexiglass top.

Kellen Boersma - hybrid guitar

Michael Novak - recording and mixing

Chicago keyboard maestro Andrew Lawrence brought his trio to the piano co for an intimate live performance. This is an original tune called "Nostalgia" and it features Andrew on a fully restored Rhodes MKII Suitcase 73.

Here's a walk through and tour of the Hohner Clavinet I from our Hohner tech, Kellen. The first Clavinet ever released, the Clavinet I offers some really cool insight in to the development of the Clavinet, a cool look into how developed it already was upon first release, and is a wonderful instrument to boot.

We overhauled and restored this Clavinet I here at Chicago Electric Piano Co, and are happy to restore any more Clavinets that come our way. Please get in touch if you have a Clavinet that needs restoration or any level of service.
