One of our favorite custom Wurlitzer builds this year! In order to commemorate the merger of his company iZotope with Native Instruments, our client wanted a top notch Wurlitzer with a very special paint job. They selected the colors and we did the rest, working closely with our painter to ensure the finish lived up to expectations. Starting with a teal base, the rainbow colors were meticulously added one at a time by hand.
As always, our work begins with a thorough and comprehensive mechanical restoration. Style over substance has never been our approach, and we pride ourselves on building pianos that sound just as good (or better!) than they look. Please enjoy this video sample arrangement of Kermit the Frogs “Rainbow Connection” from the Muppet Movie.

How much for one of these?

Custom paint jobs are sprayed in a professional booth and prices can range from around $400-600 depending on the finish for solid colors like this. For gradients or more intensive finishes, like the Peter Max inspired Wurlitzer that we refinished for Kesha that price can be higher.
