Here we have a custom 1975 Rhodes Stage 73 rehoused in an American walnut case with matching cheekblocks and mirror name rail. It’s capped off with a gorgeous smoked plexi top. Under the hood we have what really counts: our top tier mechanical restoration, ensuring this piano plays and sounds even better than it looks. This one is on its way to Colombia to be played by @manuelturizo

🎙️🇩🇪 Our take on Wilco’s “Impossible Germany”. Whammy Clavinets often get compared to lead guitars, and so we decided to take Nels Cline’s sensitive vibrato style licks and try them out on the Whammy Clavinet. Accompanied by @matt.blocher on a freshly restored Wurlitzer 214, we love the way this little homage came out. 🇩🇪🎙️

The custom Helpinstill goes for one more ride on this take of Bruce Hornsby’s Classic hit “The Way It Is”. @spuly_ put this arrangement together of the often sampled, rarely covered, 1986 chart-topping, career-making, song.

This Helpinstill’s custom output box, designed and built by our @krazykeegan , allows for panning the Piano’s three pickups through the use of separated outputs. You’ll hear some of that stereo spread on this recording.

Here we demonstrate the unique ability of our custom Helpinstill piano to split its own keyboard into three separate outputs; Bass, Middle, and Treble. Of course, the two-way split became somewhat standard in the digital era, but can you name any other acoustic instrument that can split its register like this?

The treble is run through a vintage @bossinfoglobal DM-3 for maximum @lee_scratch_perry vibes. The midrange is run through a vintage Boss Ph-1 phaser. We ran the bass through a vintage @ehx mini Q tron for a little @bootsy_collins nod.

⛅️ Presenting a very special customized Helpinstill 64 “Portable” Electric Piano. Beyond our mechanical restoration, customization turned this piano into a truly unique instrument, with a custom white paint job, a one-of-a-kind electronics set up, and added legs to stabilize regulation, this is a Helpinstill like no other. ⛅️

The custom electronics break out box, designed by our own @krazykeegan , allows for three separate outputs across the piano’s register. Our client wanted to be able to pan the piano’s bass and treble, but this also allows different effects for the bass, midrange, and treble, respectively. Typical Helpinstill electronics mix each of the three pickups at equal volume for a single mono output, which our mixing box also allows for. We also have volume controls for each pickup integrated. The white paint job gives this piano a beautiful glossy pop. Originally, these were all black. We also had custom leg extenders made by @stolatisfab in order to add Wurlitzer legs while still keeping the piano on it’s original wheels. These also stabilize the piano’s regulation.

The Helpinstill piano’s keys fold into itself, for safe and compact transport. Packed up, this thing’s footprint isn’t much bigger than a couple of twin reverbs. And it’s on wheels, ready for the gig!
